Privacy Policy

Profilix is built by Vyrnox for teams that require offline social media intelligence. This policy documents the minimal scope of data handled, the absence of cloud dependencies, and your controls when operating Profilix in secured environments.

  1. Guiding principles

    Profilix honors air-gapped investigative workflows by keeping analysis confined to your hardware.

    • No network dependency: Profilix runs without live connectivity and never sends profile data to Vyrnox or third parties.
    • Local-first analytics: All computations and intermediate artifacts stay on the workstation you control.
    • Operator command: Reports and exports are produced only when you explicitly request them.

  2. Data we process

    Profilix touches only the items you import for analysis:

    • Captured profiles: Archives, screenshots, API exports, or other datasets you provide.
    • Derived features: Embeddings, anomaly scores, and risk classifications computed locally in memory.
    • Workspace settings: Optional thresholds, tags, or templates you configure for your investigations.

    No telemetry, usage analytics, or remote logging occurs.

  3. On-device storage

    Profilix stores imported data, generated models, and reports strictly on the local filesystem you designate. We do not replicate, sync, or back up that information. You control retention by deleting projects, wiping caches, or uninstalling the software.

  4. Device permissions

    Profilix may request limited local permissions depending on your deployment:

    • File system access: Required to read the datasets you ingest and to write analytic outputs.
    • Hardware acceleration: Optional access to GPU or neural accelerators to speed local inference.

    Permissions exist solely for offline computation and can be revoked; functionality will adjust to available resources.

  5. Third-party services

    Profilix does not connect to external APIs or cloud infrastructure. Offline model update packages are distributed separately and installed under your supervision.

  6. Data retention and deletion

    You determine how long Profilix data is retained. Provided utilities can securely shred temporary tensors, caches, and report artifacts. Once removed, Vyrnox cannot restore any portion of the deleted data.

  7. Children’s privacy

    Profilix targets professional investigators and is not directed toward individuals under 18. If your workflows encounter protected information, remove it in accordance with applicable regulations.

  8. International transfers

    Because Profilix never transmits collected data, cross-border transfers arise only if you move the physical device. Follow your organization’s policies when transporting hardware loaded with profile captures.

  9. Changes to this policy

    Policy updates will appear at this URL and within Profilix release notes. Continuing to operate the software after revisions become effective signifies acceptance of the changes.
